What is the path to shared SSL? - Windows

The path to shared SSL for Windows accounts is:

https://secure{server#}.win.hostgator.com/{virtual_directory_name}

If you choose to use the shared SSL, you will be asked for a virtual directory name. You may change the virtual directory name to whatever you like, keeping in mind that it needs to be unique on the server since others may be using the same virtual directory name. The name you select will point to your httpsdocs folder in the subdomain. All files that use the shared SSL need to be located in that specific folder. It may be necessary to duplicate graphics and other files in this folder to make sure that all the links work correctly. You should consider this as if it were another web site separate from the rest of your domain.

Just to tweak the article a bit now that support has helped me to figure out the path for my Windows hosting account.

If your hosting account is on pss009.win.hostgator.com, your secure path becomes https://secure9.win.hostgator.com/{virtual_directory_name}.

Hope it helps.
