There is a spoof email that we are noticing which contains the subject line of HostGator - Billing informations. It states that the customers credit card has been declined It then asks you to update your credit card information. It also includes a coupon code of "'Oua19mer62' for 25% OFF."
If you get any email similar to this, please know that this was definitely not sent from HostGator, as it is poorly worded and we would never notify our customers in such a manner. It will help us greatly if you could provide the full email headers so we can track who is spoofing our email address. Please forward that information to sales@hostgator.com Attn: Mario.
