We will not release the security PIN to anyone requesting it, and it is not included in the welcome email. The owner must remember the PIN they picked at sign up.

Do I need my PIN number?
We use the PIN number to verify we are speaking to the account owner, however, we can verify that you are the owner of the account in other ways. When you call, email or contact us via live chat, we will ask certain questions to help verify we are actually speaking with the account owner. The agent you are speaking with will assist you in verifying your identity.
You can also login to the Client Area at http://gbclient.hostgator.com and submit support tickets from there. Since you are already logged in, any support ticket you submit there is automatically "verified" and we will know we are speaking with the account owner or authorized representative.
