IP change - Plesk 10

To give a customer a dedicated IP address in Plesk 10 do the following:

  1. Login to Plesk Administrator
  2. Click on Tools & Utilities
  3. Click on IP Addresses
  4. Click on the IP Address your wanting to assign
  5. To make this a Private IP (Exclusive) make sure the Exclusive radio button is chosen
  6. For SSL Certificate Leave to default if you haven't already installed an SSL
  7. For Default Site: using the pull down menu choose the domain you want to have to be the default for this IP
  8. Click on OK

Note: If you do change the IP of a domain, the domain will be down for up to 8 hours while it re-propagates.
