Plesk 11.5 - Creating Email Accounts

Your HostGator Windows package can support an unlimited number of email accounts. This article will show how to set up an email account in your Plesk Control Panel.

Enabling Email Service

  1. Login to the Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click the Mail tab at the top.
  3. Click the Change Settings button.

  4. Under Mail Service, check the box for "Activate mail service on domain".

    Activate mail service.

  5. Click the OK button to finish.

Setting Up an Email Account

  1. Login to the Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Click the Mail tab at the top.
  3. Click the Create Email Address button.

  4. Enter a name for this email account.


    If required, select the desired domain name from the drop-down.

  5. Create and confirm the password.
    Please select a password with a strength of "Strong" or better.
    Other settings can typically be left at default settings.

  6. Click the OK button to finish.
