Starting Fresh
If you are starting fresh with a new site, then follow the steps in this order:

Post Setup
Transferring Your Existing Site
If you have an existing website and are transferring it over, you would want to follow the steps in a slightly different order:

- Change Your DNS
Post Setup
You will note that when you transfer an existing site to your new hosting account, you change DNS after you copy your site over, not before. This is so your visitors continue to see your website while you transfer it over. If you are starting a new site, then you change your DNS first so people can see your new site sooner.
