By default, all Shared and Reseller hosting accounts have only one shared IP address and no dedicated IP address. You can find your site's current IP in the left-hand menu of the main page of cPanel.
A dedicated IP change requires 4 hours to resolve. Your site may appear to be down during that time. You will NOT need to change your name servers.
Dedicated IPs for Linux Shared Hosting
Linux Shared hosting accounts have only one cPanel, so they are allowed only one dedicated IP. If you choose the dedicated IP, all of your addon and subdomains will use the dedicated IP. Emails will still use the shared IP.

Dedicated IPs for Windows Shared Hosting
Windows Shared hosting accounts have a limit of one (1) dedicated IP address per account. If you choose to use a dedicated IP, all of your additional domains and subdomains will use the same IP. Emails will still use the shared IP.
The method required for requesting a dedicated IP depends on the type of Windows Shared plan that was purchased.

Reseller accounts have potential for unlimited IPs (one for each cPanel). Just create the cPanel first, then submit the following form:
If you choose the dedicated IP, all of your addon and subdomains within the same cPanel will use the dedicated IP. Emails will still use the shared IP.
Dedicated IPs for VPS Hosting
Every VPS plan comes with 2 IP addresses, one of which is a shared IP by default; the other IP is typically reserved for dedicated purposes such as an SSL installation.
Due to the global shortage of IPv4 addresses, we reserve the right to deny any dedicated IP request based on insufficient justification or current IP utilization.
