Requesting a New cPanel Password

If you have lost or forgotten your cPanel password, you can reset it using any one of the methods below:

Reset cPanel Password at the cPanel Login Screen

From the cPanel login screen, you can reset your password by completing the following steps:

  1. Click Reset Password on the lower right side of the screen.
  2. Enter your billing credentials and click Continue.
  3. Once you authenticate to billing, the drop-down menu pre-selects the account you are attempting to log into based on the URL. You may also select another package from your billing account.
  4. After you enter a new, valid password twice, click Reset Password.
  5. Click Login with your new cPanel Password to be redirected to the login page.

Change Your Password

When you request a new password through your billing account, the password emailed to you will be a randomly generated password. If you would like to change your password to something easier to remember, you can do so from within cPanel.
