Billing Portal - How to Login

When you originally signed up for your account, you received a Welcome Email containing your billing area login and cPanel login information. For security reasons, the login information for the billing area is different than your login for your hosting control panel. While your cPanel and billing area will continue to be accessible individually through their own unique credentials, HostGator has now introduced Single Sign On.

Single Sign On will allow you to review your invoices, review and reply to support tickets, and navigate through both your cPanel and Billing area with ease, just by logging in at https://portal.hostgator.com/. How to Log in:

  1. Visit https://portal.hostgator.com/
  2. Log in with your primary email address and billing password.

Forgot your password?

If you have forgotten your billing login password:

  1. Visit https://portal.hostgator.com/
  2. Click the Forgot Password link.
  3. Enter the primary email address for your billing account and click Send Password. You will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to reset your password.

Still not working?

If you still cannot log in:

  • Be sure you are using the primary email address (the email you gave during signup).
  • Enter your email address in all lowercase.
  • Remember that the password is case sensitive. Make sure your caps lock is off.
  • Be careful when you copy and paste. It is easy to inadvertently copy extra blank spaces at the beginning or end of your password.
